Fortnite Pirate Shop Token:how to get it.
Pirate Shop Access is a rare random reward from chests on Crossbones Isle. It unlocks 14 days of eligible free Item Shop offers, with one activation in 2026 and another in 2027. No location guarantees a Token.
Where to start: Arlong Park’s main building or the northeast coast near Fortune’s Fort.
Recommended mode: regular public Battle Royale or Zero Build matches. Get a weapon, then start searching chests.
Improve your chances: reach more unlooted chests by following a route and splitting buildings with teammates. You can start solo; a Sprite is optional.

How to improve your chances of getting the Pirate Shop Token
Opening more eligible chests gives you more chances to find the Token. These four actions help you reach more chests during your matches.
1. Search in a clear order
Work through each floor or landmark once. A repeatable route reduces backtracking and missed rooms.
2. Split buildings with your squad
Cover different floors or nearby buildings to reach more chests together. tmnglv’s video reports Pirate Shop Access sharing (01:14) with squadmates.
3. Use a Sprite to locate nearby chests
Both reveal nearby chests; Plundarrgh also grants a post-chest speed boost. Use one when available, or follow chest sounds.
4. Move on from looted stops
Skip empty spawns and crowded stops. Continue to the next safe unlooted area before the storm cuts off your search.

The benefit comes from more searches. A higher drop rate for an individual chest or location has not been established.
Other rewards you can find in chests
Gold cosmetics, vehicle rewards and in-match Gizmos can also appear during your hunt. A gold animation does not always mean Pirate Shop Access—check the reward name.

Most frequent Treasure Hunt chest drops: Lucky Locator, Sprite Locator, Portable Extractor and Golden Fireworks.
How to activate Pirate Shop Access
Choose when your 14 days of free Item Shop access start.
- Return to the lobby and open the Item Shop.
- Select “Plunder the Item Shop.”
- Check the deadline, then choose “Activate Now.” Your 14 days start then.

What you get: For 14 days after activating (once in 2026 and once in 2027), any Item Shop outfit, bundle, pickaxe, emote, Jam Track or vehicle sold for V-Bucks can be claimed for 0 V-Bucks and kept permanently in your Locker, plus one free unowned Sidekick.
What is excluded: Real-money cash packs, gifting to friends, and passes/levels/rewards are excluded.
